About the facility

The Swanston Centre Acute In-patient Unit provides recovery orientated service delivery to adults with acute mental health disorders living in the Geelong region.  It endeavours to provide optimum treatment and management to consumers in the least restrictive manner and to the highest possible standard.

About the role

Barwon Health's Acute Treatment is seeking a Grade 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurse for a full time position within the Swanston Centre.  As the Shift Manager you will provide co-ordination, leadership and supervision of staff in the daily operations of the unit.  In this role you will provide assessment and continuing care to consumers with a serious mental disorder as well as manage shifts and complete statistical information.
