Our Metro North service is seeking a skilled and experienced nursing professional to join their team as a full time Clinical Nurse.

As the Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for participating in leading, motivating and developing staff as well as building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. In addition, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to the service as well as acting as a clinical and management resource.

You will work in partnership with the Care Coordinator and the other Clinical Nurse to ensure overall leadership of all care staff within a Zonal structure and recognizing your specified areas of expertise.

To be successful in these roles, you are required to have:

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
Current open Queensland Driver’s Licence;
A National Police Certificate;
Advanced care planning skills including assessment, care plan development and care evaluation skills;
Demonstrated case management and client care coordination skills;
Skills in accessing multidisciplinary services and liaising with other care providers;
Demonstrated leadership and management skills; ;
Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills (written and oral), coupled with ability to train, coach and mentor;
Demonstrated ability to actively and positively participate in and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement activities and systems review and operation; and
Able to demonstrate well established networks and knowledge of resources available in community health care and demonstrated knowledge of contemporary nursing practices.
