We are seeking motivated and energetic Registered Nurses to join our Emergency Department team. With the opportunity to use a variety of nursing skills, your duties will include assessing patients’ needs and planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate care. You will be responsible for communicating changes in patients’ condition and care, recognising and escalating care where needed. You will also work to ensure patient safety and contribute to risk minimisation and safe care practices within the Emergency Department. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. This will be supported by your recent acute care nursing experience in an Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit setting. Demonstrating an ability to think on your feet and respond to clinical deterioration or other incidents, you will work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Good organisation skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise care in a fast-paced and changing environment. Your strong communication skills will equip you to work with clients and caregivers from a diverse range of backgrounds.
