  • Salary $34.55 – $47.14 per hour + 25% casual loading – Casual up to 30 June 2023 – RN/M1

The Registered Nurse will provide a high quality of nursing and/or midwifery services within the Cowell District Hospital aimed at improving patient health outcomes. Employees working within this level develop from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice. They consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience and accepts accountability for his or her own standards of nursing/midwifery care and for activities delegated to others.

The Registered Nurse will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate and a demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.  COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
