The Enrolled Nurse role is to support the Registered Nurse/Midwife in the provision of person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements. The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife, however at all times the Enrolled Nurse retains responsibility for his/her actions and remains accountable in providing nursing/midwifery care.
The Enrolled Nurse must be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with AHPRA with experience in providing nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
This is a multiple position part time vacancy, working hours per fortnight will be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked. In addition to the annual salary package, we also offer salary sacrifice benefits, employer superannuation contributions and leave loading.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
