The Role
Are you ready to make a profound difference in mental health care? As a Mental Health Nurse Consultant, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming mental health services within a dynamic general medical and emergency department setting. Your expertise will drive excellence and innovation in mental health care across regional South Australia and the Rural and Remote Mental Health Service (RRMHS).
In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with key stakeholders from the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network (FUNLHN), playing a critical role in shaping and enhancing mental health responses. You’ll partner with the FUNLHN Community Mental Health Teams, offering invaluable education and mentorship to elevate the skills of staff, ensuring top-notch care for mental health consumers.
As a leader in your field, you’ll deliver clinical, educational, and professional mental health services with a focus on improving safety and quality. You’ll provide expert guidance and consultancy that supports recovery across various community, acute, and rehabilitation settings.
- Offer advanced mental health nursing care and clinical leadership.
- Lead and coordinate projects and programs that drive positive outcomes for consumers and services.
- Mentor and educate staff to enhance their mental health management skills.
