- Salary: $94,583 – $101,120 p.a. (pro rata) – RN/RM2A
- Temp F/T or P/T positions available (part time hours to be negotiated) working up to 30/12/2022, over a 7 day roster
In this pivotal management position, you will provide support to the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in the leadership of nurses within the Country Health Connect service in Mount Gambier. Promoting continuity and consistency of care, you will contribute to the implementation of practice changes and undertake service management responsibilities. These will include performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management, as well as financial and supplies planning and monitoring. Utilising your nursing/midwifery skills and knowledge, you will support and work collaboratively with less experienced members of the nursing team. You will need to be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With prior experience in management and leadership roles, you will be capable of giving supervision to student nurses, Enrolled Nurses and less experienced Registered Nurses and Midwives. You will use your effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills to maintain a cohesive multidisciplinary team and resolve local or immediate nursing/midwifery care problems.
