About Snowtown Hospital
Snowtown is a prosperous settlement 148 km north of Adelaide via the famous Highway 1. The town of Snowtown is a peaceful place with friendly faces and a thriving agricultural community located in the mid-north of South Australia, 150 kms from Adelaide. Snowtown is located on the main road and rail routes between Adelaide and Perth and is surrounded by the picturesque Barunga and Hummocks Ranges.
A warm friendly town it offers wonderful community facilities such as sporting and recreation grounds, community swimming pool along with a school and childcare facilities. The town is close to the world-famous Clare Valley wine region and within easy reach of the Township of Clare and the beautiful beaches of the Copper Coast.
Snowtown Hospital has 3 acute beds and 5 MPS aged care beds in the Hospital Building and 19 aged care beds in the recently refurbished Lumeah Home. All rooms in both buildings are single with ensuites. Services offered include 24-hour accident and emergency, acute inpatient services, Palliative care, and residential aged care. The hospital also supports visiting GP, and Allied Health services.
Role Overview

- Registered Nurse: Permanent P/T, 3.02 FTE (various positions) Commencing ASAP
- Registered Nurse: Temporary P/T, 0.84 FTE (32 hours) Commencing ASAP until 30/04/2025
- Enrolled Nurse: Permanent P/T, 0.84 FTE (32 hours) Commencing ASAP
