Your opportunity
The purpose of this role is to:

  • Demonstrate an expert level of professional and operational responsibility within the Hub and Spoke facilities that incorporate Roma Hospital as the Hub, Mitchell MPHS, Injune MPHS, Westhaven Nursing Care Unit and Wallumbilla Outpatients Clinic known as the spoke facilities.
  • Provide professional and operational management and support for Nursing, Midwifery, Allied Health, Administration and Operational staff within the Hub in Roma and in the spoke sites in conjunction with the DON Facility Managers of the spoke facilities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Director of Nursing and Midwifery and others in the achievement of the Strategic Nursing and Midwifery Plan.
  • Exercise professional and clinical expertise in collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders including visiting services, medical staff and external service providers.
