Overview
Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference in the lives of young people? SA Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Youth Mental Health Consultant Liaison Clinician for a full-time, ongoing position within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.
The Youth Mental Health Consultation Liaison Clinician will provide clinical, educational, and professional mental health support to a range of Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) and Integrated Mental Health Units (IMHU) within the regional health networks. The Youth Mental Health Consultation Liaison Clinician/Clinical Practice Consultant works in partnership with a range of stakeholders from regional SA and metropolitan based services and supports Youth Mental Health practice in regional locations to provide an integrated mental health response.

Qualifications
To qualify as a RN/M3 you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. You must also hold a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent).
To qualify as an AHP3 you must hold a recognised qualification within the recognised Allied Health Profession of Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology, and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association. For professions requiring Registration all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For Social Work, individuals must have participated in ongoing professional development in line with Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) guidelines.
