About the role
An exciting opportunity is presented for a proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills to be part of a dynamic and visionary organisation. As an Enrolled Nurse within the Mental Health Support Program, you will participate in the processes of nursing care delivery, and the maintenance of a physically safe and culturally sensitive environment for consumers and staff. Within a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team, you will deliver direct and effective assessment and care to consumers with mental health problems in a manner reflecting the enrolled nursing competencies and a recovery oriented framework in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. In this flexible role where there is an opportunity to accommodate a variety of outpatient healthcare challenges, you will participate in the promotion of mental health and prevention of ill health.

Enrolled as a Nurse with the Nursing Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. You must hold a diploma in Enrolled nursing, as well as a current drivers license. With recent experience in nursing relevant to the area of practice with demonstrated competence, you will bring the proven ability to communicate appropriately and interact effectively in all situations with patients, relatives and visitors. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment or autonomously with minimal direction. A self motivator, you will conduct yourself at all times with professional integrity and confidentiality.
