We are seeking an experienced and visionary Nursing Director (Nurse Lead) to provide expert strategic and operational leadership, management, and governance for the Acute and Urgent Care team Royal Adelaide Hospital Inpatient Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Governance: You will be responsible for setting and upholding the highest standards of patient/client care, ensuring that nursing, and/or multidisciplinary teams maintain the highest practice standards
- System Development & Improvement: Lead the development and implementation of systems that support, evaluate, and continually improve nursing, and/or multidisciplinary practice, fostering a healthy work environment
- Accountability: You will have full accountability for the cost-effective provision of health services within your designated area, with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Autonomy & Decision-Making: This role requires a high degree of autonomy, allowing for independent judgement and decision-making in the management of health services
- Culture of Quality & Safety: Build and nurture a culture that prioritises quality and safety, ensuring that all practices are patient/client centred

Essential Qualifications:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
Desirable Qualifications:
- Post graduate studies in nursing, health services management, health administration or human services relevant to the area of practice
- Qualifications in and/or experience in a Mental Health practice

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace
