About the role

RN-3 The Clinical Co-ordinator provides co-ordination of clinical business and clinical processes for the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). The Clinical Co-ordinator is an experienced mental health clinician who will support clinical service delivery.

AHP-3 The Mental Health Clinical Program works with youth, adults and older people and provides a stepped range of services encompassing emergency, acute inpatient, sub-acute, community and rehabilitation services.

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of clinical business and clinical processes of the Community Mental Health Team. Operating as a part of the leadership team, the Clinical Coordinator is an experienced mental health clinician who will support clinical service delivery.

Employees in this role accept accountability for the outcomes of clinical practice and for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy and for developing team performance and a positive work culture in the interest of consumer outcomes.

The incumbent will be required to participate and contribute to the strategic and operational management of the sector as directed by the Service Manager.
