About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Team Manager to lead the Elpida House Community Rehabilitation Centre and the Community Clinical Rehabilitation Service (CCRS) within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Mental Health Clinical Program. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and recovery-focused community mental health rehabilitation services. You’ll collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including consumers, community organisations, and government departments, to ensure seamless and timely rehabilitation services that meet the needs of youth, adults, and older people in our community.
As the Team Manager, you will drive a positive team culture, ensuring your team performs at its best and delivers outstanding consumer outcomes. You’ll foster strong partnerships with hospital and community-based services, ensuring effective care pathways and maximising access to psychosocial supports. This is an exciting opportunity for a leader passionate about mental health rehabilitation, consumer-centred care, and working in collaboration with a diverse network of stakeholders.
AHP-4 Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- An appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers or
- An appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy of Australia or
- Master’s degree in clinical psychology or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA with an endorsed area of practice in Clinical Psychology
RN-4 Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, and enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.
- Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in Mental Health Nursing.

- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration across disciplines to achieve results.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to work respectfully with consumers, carers, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Operational Expertise: Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing complex service systems, and driving change management initiatives.
- Mental Health Knowledge: In-depth understanding of rehabilitation frameworks, mental health reform, and relevant legislation, with experience in community mental health settings.
