About You

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality care and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications & Experience – Registered Nurse with the NMBA, a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent), and at least three years of post-registration experience.
  • Clinical Skills & Knowledge – Competency in mental health nursing practice, knowledge of contemporary nursing and healthcare issues, and familiarity with relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards.
  • Communication & Teamwork – Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with consumers, carers, and health professionals, and a commitment to consumer-focused care.
  • Professionalism & Initiative – Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, analyse situations objectively, and contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating mental health nursing care.
