About the Role
RN-1 As a Mental Health Nurse, you’ll deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care within a multidisciplinary team, providing direct nursing support and individual case management to consumers in a designated setting. You will continue developing your clinical skills and knowledge through professional growth and experience, while taking accountability for your own practice and delegated care. Under the guidance of senior nurses, you’ll contribute to education, counselling, and group work activities aimed at improving consumer outcomes, while working closely with other health professionals and community organisations to support holistic mental health care.
RN-2 As a Clinical Nurse (CN) within the Mental Health Care Program (MHCP), you’ll deliver comprehensive, recovery-focused mental health nursing across diverse clinical settings. With a strong foundation of experience and/or further study, you’ll provide direct care, case management, and support to consumers while guiding less experienced staff. Your role will involve clinical leadership, education, and the potential to contribute to research or broader MHCP projects. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community organisations, you’ll help deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports each consumer’s recovery journey.
