We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Midwife to join our Midwifery Group Practice based at Ceduna District Health Service. Clinical Midwives practice autonomously within a multidisciplinary team to provide midwifery continuity of care in a remote health service setting. The Clinical Midwife provides direct clinical care to maternity consumers as well as clinical support and education to other team members. You will work with children, youth, women and their families where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds. The Clinical Midwife in collaboration with the Midwifery Unit Manager, coordinates and provides continuity of midwifery care to a defined caseload of women, using primary health care principles and a problem-solving approach across the childbirth continuum.

Two permanent part time positions available, each working 60.8 hours per fortnight, over a 7 day roster.

To be successful it is essential that you meet the minimum requirements of the role outlined in the Role Description.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.
