Your Role
As a Registered Nurse in our Casual Pool, you will play an essential role in providing person-centred care to our patients across a range of clinical areas. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement individual care plans, and coordinate services with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality outcomes. You will work autonomously while also providing leadership and support to nursing teams when required.
In this dynamic role, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your clinical knowledge and gain experience across different specialties, all while contributing to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and individual case management to patients.
- Assess patient needs and plan, implement, and coordinate care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet patients’ health needs.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Lead and support nursing teams during your shifts as required.
Essential Criteria
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (or eligibility to obtain).
- Demonstrated competence in relevant nursing practice areas, meeting established standards.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to provide high-quality care.
