As a Registered Nurse or Midwife, you will provide high-quality nursing or midwifery services within our diverse health service settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing/midwifery care, taking accountability for your standards and the activities delegated to others.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred care in a supportive environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work culture focused on patient outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife or Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrating sound knowledge and an understanding of the role of the Registered Nurse within a health care setting, you will bring the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- You will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a health care setting, displaying a commitment to providing consumer and family-centred care.
- Strong communication skills including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Experience in the use of computer packages eg Microsoft, Excel
