About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering person-centered nursing care to our patients. You’ll assess individual needs, implement care plans, and coordinate services across various disciplines. With increasing autonomy, you’ll lead by example, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and support the professional development of newer staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, high-quality nursing care on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet individual health care needs.
  • Act as a team leader, coordinating patient care and supporting staff.
  • Engage in health promotion and education initiatives for patients and families.
  • Contribute to quality improvement activities to enhance patient safety.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced nurses and students during their placements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to solve problems and manage conflicts.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and creativity in addressing healthcare challenges.
  • Commitment to consumer-centered care and high nursing standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and quality improvement systems.
