- Indicative Total Remuneration: $76,336 – $105,198 p.a. (pro rata) – Temp P/T (15.2 hrs p/wk, up to 30/6/2022) – RN/RM1
You will provide nursing services within a community based setting in Mount Gambier. Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement and / or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. You will also provide post-acute care and chronic disease management along with health education and counselling to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups. It is expected that you will provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing care. Delivering clinical services safely in the client’s home or community based clinic setting, you will be working with children, youth, women, men, elderly and their families where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds. You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a community health setting.
