We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team, where you’ll contribute to delivering comprehensive and recovery-oriented services tailored to the needs of consumers and our local community.

Role Overview:

  • Integrated Care: Provide evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings.
  • Clinical Expertise: Utilise a range of preventative, early intervention, therapeutic, evaluative approaches, including individual and family therapeutic approaches, group programs, health promotion and community development programs.
  • Professional Development: Continuously develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development opportunities and hands-on experience.
  • Accountability: Take responsibility for maintaining high standards of nursing care and for activities delegated to others, ensuring quality and compassionate care delivery.

About you

  • You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrating sound knowledge and an understanding of the role of the Registered Nurse within a mental health care setting, you will bring the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • You will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a mental health setting, displaying a commitment to providing consumer and family-centred care.
  • Strong communication skills including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills will hold you in good stead for this role.
