- Salary: ENC: $58,561 – $65,920 p.a. (pro-rata) / END: $60,800 – $68,481 p.a. (pro-rata)

A proactive self motivator, this is a brilliant opportunity to step into a supported role working at the fantastic location of Mount Gambier & Districts Health Service. Working within a large regional service, you will be responsible for supporting the Registered Nurse in the provision of person centred care. Working under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, you will assess individual patient needs, plan and implement appropriate care. A flexible part time position, you will provide assistance to other members of the health care team in provision of care to individuals/groups, including overseeing the work of an AIN/M and students. In addition, you will contribute to patient safety, risk minimisation and safe work activities within the unit. Recognising the importance of evidence based practice, you will retain responsibility for your actions and remain accountable in providing nursing care.
Enrolled as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. A confident communicator who enjoys interacting with people from all walks of life, you will possess excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills. Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, you will bring to the table working knowledge and understanding the role of the Enrolled Nurse within the health care setting. Furthermore, you will have direct experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice, able to prioritise workloads.
