About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Older Persons Mental Health service to make a difference in the lives of older people experiencing challenges with their mental health.
This position will offer you professional growth opportunities within a supportive and inclusive culture. In this key position you will demonstrate your experience and previous success working as a Registered Mental Health Nurse to ensure high quality care is delivered to our consumers.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting a team of skilled healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care, promoting best practices and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients, their families and staff.
To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional clinical expertise, strong leadership abilities and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults with mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, advocating for patient needs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
