About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join the Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) Unit. In this role you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our elderly patients and contribute to the exceptional care that NALHN is renowned for.
As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and supporting the Nurse Unit Manager in leading the nursing team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the unit, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you must possess strong clinical expertise, exceptional communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering person-centred care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to nursing staff while maintaining a deep understanding of relevant policies, procedures and best practices.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
