About the Role:
The Division of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Nurse with excellent assessment, chronic disease management and communication skills – flexible working are available!
The safe@home study is a randomly controlled trial, in partnership with Flinders University, examining the effect of remote, in-home telemonitoring on healthcare use for people with chronic disease in the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) catchment.
We are looking for Clinical Nurses with chronic disease management, clinical assessment and care planning skills to deliver the safe@home study and other telehealth initiatives. You will be a part of a small team and you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Division of Medicine’s telehealth programs.
As a part of the division of medicine telehealth team, the Clinical Nurse will be responsible for:
- the day-to-day operation of telehealth programs, including research components, supporting other team members and communications with clinical teams
- recruitment and onboarding of telehealth program participants
- remote assessment, monitoring and care planning for participants in telehealth programs
There is the opportunity to work flexibly within these roles, which could include part-time, school-hours and other flexible arrangements. In addition, the successful candidate has the opportunity to complete a postgraduate qualification by clinical research at no cost.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
