The Forensic Mental Health Service is a state-wide specialised service which provides assessment, treatment and care services to meet the needs of mental health consumers in the justice system, either forensic consumers placed by the SA court system or prisoners transferred from the Department of Correctional Services.

As a Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualised care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
