Joining our Community Mental Health team, you will provide high quality evidence based care to adult consumers of the Mental Health Services at Salisbury. Undertaking initial comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments including risk assessments of all consumers referred to the service, you will monitor and develop treatment plans for consumers in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team. This may involve coordinating care and liaising with other services, government and non-government agencies. As part of your role you may also respond to Mental Health Crisis situations. With experience in providing recovery-oriented mental health nursing care, you will have proven experience in working with adult acute mental health clients, their carers and families where there are multiple complexities and diverse cultural backgrounds.
You must be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds a current practicing certificate. You must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
