The Role
A great opportunity is available for multiple Registered Nurses/Clinical Nurses to join our dedicated Emergency Department team within Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial, in providing professional high quality nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes.
A Registered Nurse (RN/M1) primary role is to provide direct person-centred nursing care and/or individual case management to patients/clients on a shift-by-shift basis in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time.
A Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C) role continues to be predominantly clinical in nature; however employees are assigned appropriate portfolios. The allocation of portfolio responsibilities should be negotiated with each employee and be consistent with the career development plan for the employee as determined by their performance review/development plan.
Eligibility
Please note that this position is multi-classed as either a RN/M1 or RN/M2 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
Please specify in your application whether you wish to be considered for RN/M1 or RN/M2C position. There is also an opportunity to work within the infusion unit and upskill to become chemo accredited.
Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. For applicants applying for the RN2 Clinical Nurse classification must also have at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
