Playing a vital role in our team, the Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse, delivers top-quality care to patients/clients while continuously advancing their professional expertise. Key responsibilities:
- Develops from novice practitioner to proficient professional through continuous learning, professional development and hands-on experience
- Accepts full accountability for their own standards of nursing care and for delegating activities to others as appropriate
- Assess individual patient/client needs and devise comprehensive care plans, implementing and coordinating appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options, including collaboration with other disciplines or agencies.
- Provide direct person-centred nursing care and/or individual case management to patients/clients on a shift-by-shift basis in a defined clinical area, with a focus on enhancing autonomy over time
- Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines or agencies to ensure holistic healthcare provision that meets the individual needs of each patient/client.
Essential Criteria
All applicants must be:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either an RN/M1 or RN/M2C, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience. To be considered for the higher classification RN/M2C, applicants must also have at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.

This is a multi position part time vacancy, hours will be negotiated on appointment and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
