As a leader of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring responsive primary health care services, programs, and activities across the Riverland Mallee Coorong (RMC) Local Health Network. These will be based on social justice and a social view of health, and will be developed in collaboration with communities and relevant organisations within government and other sectors. You will provide expert analysis of diverse data sources, consultation feedback and advice on various Community Health Aged Care priority projects (reforms) to facilitate service improvement, development and delivery of RMC Community Health services, and implementation of changes within RMC Community Health. You will lead the development and implementation of reporting, performance indicators and measurement tools for evaluating outcomes in accordance with agreed requirements. To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience at a senior or leadership level within a community aged and/or disability-based care service. This will include experience in the supervision of staff in an aged care setting. You will have sound knowledge of contemporary Aged and Disability service access systems, and a commitment to reviewing and improving models of care to be person and family-centred. Your effective leadership skills will include highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.

Please note this position is multi classed as either ASO6, RN/M3 or AHP3.  Classification will be determined upon qualifications and experience.

RN/M3 must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

AHP3 must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health profession, and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Professional Association.  For those professions requiring Registration all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations’ accredited continuing professional development program.
