  • Salary $87,416.00 – $110,497.00 (Pro Rata) RN/M2C| Part Time 24 hours per week – Contract Until October 2025

 

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Southern Adelaide Diabetes and Endocrine Services Team.

 

About the role:

 

As the Clinical Nurse Diabetes and Endocrine Research you will be an expert clinician and leader delivering direct and comprehensive care to clients within the Clinical Research unit.

 

Duties for the role will include:

 

  • Provide proficient, person centred, clinical nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to patients/clients in a defined clinical area
  • Required to, within pre-determined guidelines, and in a multi-disciplinary primary health care setting, assess clients, select and implement different therapeutic interventions, and/or support programs and evaluate progress
  • Monitoring patient/client care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis
  • Supports the Endocrine Dynamic Service, a clinical diagnostic specialised outpatient service essential in the diagnosis of a wide range of endocrine conditions
  • Supports the provision of high quality health/diabetes education to supplement or enhance protocol guidelines

 

About you:

 

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Registered as a General Nurse with the Nursing Board of Australia and holds a current practicing certificate
  • Meets (or is prepared to work toward) the requirements of an ADEA recognised Diabetes Educator
  • Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards

To be considered for the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level you must have at least three years, full time equivalent, post registration experience with experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
