Overview

Are you an experienced nurse with a passion for specialised nursing care? We are seeking a dedicated Stoma Therapy Nurse to provide specialised nursing services.

In this role, you will manage a defined caseload of clients across diverse health care settings, offering expert care and advanced knowledge in stoma and complex wound management.  Your role will involve delivering high-quality nursing services, guided by your additional study and hands-on experience in this field. You’ll be accountable for maintaining practice standards, overseeing delegated tasks, and mentoring less experienced staff. While predominantly clinical, you’ll also serve as a professional resource, bringing advanced expertise to support both clients and colleagues.

Essential Criteria

  • Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Must hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Must have a relevant post graduate qualification in stoma therapy nursing or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
