Overview

We have a great opportunity for a Mental Health Clinician with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of people with mental health challenges.

A Mental Health Clinician applies clinical experience, clinical knowledge and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services, appropriate to the needs of the consumers of the services within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network Mental Health service and the local community.

Eligibility

For those applying for the AHP2 classification you must hold a recognised Allied Health qualification within a relevant profession and be eligible for full membership of a relevant Professional Association.  For those professions requiring registration, all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be filled.  For self regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional association accredited continuing professional development program.

For those applying for the RN/M2C classification, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate and enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a relevant postgraduate qualification in mental health practices with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration mental health experience.
