Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a real impact?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Consultant to join our Community Mental Health Team. In this pivotal role, you’ll deliver high-quality clinical nursing expertise and drive improvements in mental health services across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert mental health nursing care
- Offer clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff
- Lead projects and programs to enhance consumer and service outcomes
Essential Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Hold or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate
- Hold a graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing (or equivalent)
- Have at least 3 years post registration experience
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and leadership of multidisciplinary staff, student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses
- Experience working with Aboriginal consumers
