Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? We invite you to apply for the Community Health Nurse position, where you will play a vital role in delivering advanced nursing care to enhance the health outcomes of our diverse clientele within the wider community.

As a Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative strategies and programs that promote optimal health for our Community Health Nursing clients. You will have the opportunity to showcase your clinical expertise while also guiding and mentoring less experienced staff, ensuring the highest standards of nursing practice are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced nursing care in a primary health setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address community health needs.
  • Lead and support the development of less experienced nursing staff.
  • Manage your own practice standards while overseeing delegated activities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience, demonstrating competence in relevant nursing practices.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and contemporary healthcare issues.
