Balaklava Soldiers Memorial Hospital

Balaklava is a charming country town located just an hour from Adelaide, known for its vibrant farming and agriculture industry. Our hospital and nursing home provide essential healthcare services to this welcoming community.

At Balaklava Soldiers Memorial District Hospital and Ira Parker Nursing Home, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care. Our facility features a 15-bed acute ward with a 24-hour emergency department and a 20-bed residential aged care facility. We offer a range of services, including acute care, step-down care, restorative programs, palliative care, emergency services, and aged care services.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the comprehensive care of consumers across all services provided. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality healthcare.  Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in acute and aged care settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all consumers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

  • Registered Nurse: Permanent F/T, 1.42 FTE (Various Positions) Commencing ASAP
  • Registered Nurse: Temporary P/T, 2.62 FTE (Various Positions) Commencing ASAP until 1 February 2025
