About Booleroo Centre Hospital

Booleroo Centre is a charming rural town located in the Southern Flinders Ranges, approximately 250 kilometres north of Adelaide. With a population of around 300 people, it offers a peaceful and welcoming community, surrounded by scenic landscapes and a rich history.

6 acute inpatient and 10-12 state funded aged care beds. Services offered include a 24-hour Emergency Department, acute medical inpatient service, palliative care, and residential aged care.

As a small site nursing staff work dynamically across all areas of the service. The hospital is well supported by an onsite GP practice with afterhours on-call and the SA Virtual Emergency Service (SAVES).

Nursing at Booleroo Hospital offers the opportunity of an excellent balance of work across all areas of the service. Staff are well supported to develop new skills and knowledge, to pursue areas of interest, to expand scope of practice and to provide leadership. You will find the team friendly and supportive. As a nurse you will plan and deliver direct care to inpatients and residents and treat all emergency patients attending the hospital.
