Burra Hospital
The Burra Hospital is in the quaint township of Burra. Steeped in mining history Burra is home to the “Monster Mine” a large open cut copper mine which, in its day, played a significant part in the propensity of the State of South Australia. Located 164kms from Adelaide, Burra boasts a village like atmosphere with many historical buildings lining the town square. Today the district is well renowned for its rich agriculture, particularly wool, fat lambs and cattle. The town is close to the world-famous wine regions of the Clare and Barossa Valleys and only 30 minutes’ drive to the Township of Clare.
Burra Hospital has 5 acute beds and 16 MPS aged care beds. Services offered include 24-hour accident and emergency, acute inpatient services, Palliative care, and residential aged care. The hospital also supports visiting GP, Dental and Allied Health services.

- Registered Nurse: Permanent P/T, 1.5 FTE (Various Positions) Commencing ASAP
- Registered Nurse: Temporary P/T, 0.53 FTE Commencing ASAP until 11/12/2025
- Enrolled Nurse: Permanent P/T, 0.74 FTE Commencing ASAP
