Fantastic opportunity in Karratha for an experienced Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Care, for a Permanent Part-Time appointment at 32 hours per fortnight.

Country Nursing and Midwifery Incentive Program

The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives – across a broad range of patient-facing roles – on fixed term or permanent contracts at eligible locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months. Position Profile:  The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse Ambulatory Care is to manage, coordinate and deliver comprehensive evidenced based nursing care and quality outpatient services, using leadership, organisational and advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the ambulatory care practice setting. The Clinical Nurse provides clinical supervision for Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and students.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Clinical knowledge and experience in the delivery of evidenced based nursing care within an Ambulatory Care practise setting
  • Advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making
  • Well-developed team leadership and membership skills
  • High level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
